World Health Organization Africa Region 3 by 5 Evaluation 2004-2006
In line with the terms of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) grant agreement, WHO and CIDA commissioned an external evaluation to measure the progress in implementation of the programme of work at global, regional and country level. Kenya had been selected as one of the sample evaluation countries and a team of 3 consultants arrived in the country for the evaluation. The evaluation team expressed interest to meet officials of KECOFATUMA and on 28th September KECOFATUMA hosted one of the consultants Anne Skjelmerud from Norway. The consultant interviewed the officials on our members' knowledge on the 3 by 5 initiative, whether the concept was well understood, how far the country had gone in the realization of the initiative and constraints and challenges in the realization of the initiative.
